Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented Part-Time Personal Assistant to support the founder of The HRER in managing both business operations and personal tasks. This role involves calendar and travel coordination, content and template support, online research, local event planning, and general organization. Ideal candidates enjoy variety, are great at problem-solving, and are preferably located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Responsibilities:
**Admin & Scheduling Support (40%)**
- Manage calendar (business + personal)
- Book travel, accommodations, and reservations
- Prioritize email communication
- Maintain digital files and templates
**Marketing & Community Engagement (30%)**
- Schedule social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Support local outreach, events, and community efforts
- Assist with simple Canva flyers, posts, and presentations
- Track basic engagement and insights
**Research & Personal Support (30%)**
- Research vendors, events, venues, or speakers
- Support Black Alumni Council tasks and social planning
- Manage personal errands and special projects
- Help coordinate speaking engagements and travel prep
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a personal or executive assistant
- Organized, reliable, and creative problem-solver
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Slides)
- Comfortable with social media platforms and Canva
- Discretion and attention to detail
- Charlotte, NC area preferred
Pay Rate:
$25–$35/hour depending on experience

Brand & Podcast Intern (Part-Time, Summer, ~10 hours/week)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Summer Intern to assist in the launch and development of a personal brand and podcast. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in content creation, social media, and brand building. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Responsibilities:
**Brand Development (50%)**
- Brainstorm and research content ideas
- Assist with brand visuals and identity
- Help organize content and shoots
**Podcast Support (50%)**
- Research topics and guests
- Assist with episode outlines/scripts
- Learn audio editing (training provided)
- Create promotional posts/audiograms
- Explore platforms for launch and engagement
Qualifications:
- Interest in branding and content creation
- Familiarity with TikTok, IG, Canva
- Strong writing and communication
- Google Suite required
- Reliable and creative
- Charlotte, NC area preferred
Stipend:
$200–$300/week (depending on experience and time commitment)
